If we could give Wendi Slaton Anderson more than five stars, we would. When we first reached out to Wendi more than two years ago, we weren’t even sure we were moving to Austin. We thought we’d probably end up in the suburbs, and were just beginning to explore what life here might look like. From that first conversation, Wendi never treated us like just another transaction. She took the time to truly understand who we are as a family, what we valued, how we live, and what we were hoping to find - even before we knew those answers ourselves. As our plans evolved from “maybe someday” to making the move from New York, Wendi was an incredible guide every step of the way. Her knowledge of Austin is unmatched, but what sets her apart is how personalized that knowledge is. She didn’t just tell us about neighborhoods - she helped us understand the culture, the tradeoffs, and which places would actually feel like home for our family. Because she really “got” us, she steered us toward a neighborhood we never would have considered initially, and it has turned out to be the perfect fit. We genuinely feel like we’ve found home. When it came time to make an offer and navigate the closing process, Wendi was equally exceptional. She’s a thoughtful strategist, an outstanding negotiator, and gave us complete confidence through every decision. We always felt informed, protected, and incredibly well represented. But beyond all of that, Wendi is simply a wonderful person. She’s warm, kind, patient, generous with her time, and really just FUN to be around. Some of our favorite memories from this whole journey are the days we spent driving around Austin with her, talking about neighborhoods, restaurants, schools, and life. We were absolutely thrilled to find our dream home, but honestly a little sad that it meant our house-hunting adventures with Wendi were coming to an end. Wendi embodies everything that drew us to Austin in the first place. If you’re looking for someone who combines deep market expertise with genuine care, integrity, and an uncanny ability to help you find the place that’s truly right for you, we cannot recommend her highly enough. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did for our family.

We always felt like she had our back. And then, after closing, she surprised us with the sweetest gift tied to the city we’re moving to. It was personal, thoughtful, and honestly just so Wendi.
